This insurance company experience has provided the foundation for Pete's understanding of how to properly interact with insurance carriers as well as represent client's in the marketplace.
In 1988, he joined Marquis & Associates as Vice President, responsible for managing the company's insurance department. As a result of the quality of his performance, Pete became a partner in Marquis & Associates in 1992. The following year he was promoted to chief operating officer, where he implemented a new strategic plan, advertising campaign, and created a small business subsidiary which was later sold to its principal officer.

In 2001, he was promoted to CEO of the newly formed Metro Construction office. This group was comprised of the New Jersey operation (which was primarily middle market), the New York operation (which was primarily wrap up business), and the commercial and contract surety teams.
During his career he has designed and managed some of the largest and most complex wrap-ups in the industry. The owners of these programs included school districts with billion dollar construction budgets, worldwide Pharmaceuticals Companies, as well as some of the most prominent Developer's and Contractors in the Country.
Pete graduated with a BBA from Gettysburg College in 1983 and earned his CPCU Designation in 1988.
Pete will continue to use his strong leadership skills to advance Construction Risk Partners into the future. Pete has the unique ability to create a strong sense of team between clients, carriers and internal stakeholders, which has contributed greatly to his success.
